Mid-America Port Commission

The Port Commission's primary function is to develop and establish modern regional intermodal port facilities in the region of the Upper Mississippi River to attract commerce to the region in order to promote job creation and foster economic development. This effort is a regional economic development initiative supported by the three states of Iowa, Illinois and Missouri to establish the Mid-America Regional PortTM.
